My New Favorite Styling Tool

This wand is a lifesaver. I have thick, straight hair and I've searched my entire life for something that would hold a curl in my hair. No amount of heat and hairspray has ever got my hair to hold until this. I originally had the round 1" barrel one, but I found that 1) it gave me more spiral curls instead of waves and 2) it was difficult to keep my hair from sliding off. This elliptical wand gives me the soft waves I've desired for so long and since the barrel is flat, my hair does not slide off. I keep the heat at 375 degrees and wrap my hair for about 10-20 seconds depending on how thick of a section I use. I do not need any product before or after styling with this wand and the waves stay put, even after a full day at work. I highly recommend this product.

The perfect loose waves I was wanting

I had the Remington pearl that got narrow at the end. I really didn't want to buy this one since I already bought one like it. I am so glad I did though! I love the waves and body this gives me without the tight curls I get from the other one. I still use the other one for my daughter's thick, straight, fine hair. Shipping was prompt.

AWESOME!!!

This product is SUPER!!! Very reasonable price and high quality. I have used high end curling irons and flat irons: BaByliss, Bio Ionic and Ozon. The waves this product produces stay in better than the ones my curling and flat irons produce. Even if I pin my hair back in a bun or sleep on it, the waves from the day before stay. I have never had these kind of awesome results. The waves are gorgeous and take no time to create with the wand. This wand heats up fast! Under 30 seconds....and it tells you on the digital heat setting when it is ready to use. I also only need to put it on the mid-heat setting: I have fine, wavy, thick hair. Also, this product has a lock for the heat settings and even if you press the on/off button while using the wand, the wand will not shut off. You have to press and hold the on/off switch for the wand to turn off. This is the reason I did not go with the Conair wands. You can press the on/off button accidentally, and the Conair wands (waving and curling) turn off. The other negative that made me not buy the Conair Waving Wand was that some reviewers said it dented the hair (BaByliss Waving Wand UK - Conair Waving Wand USA). The Remington Waving Wand does not dent the hair. The crushed pearl in the wand ceramic material does make my hair very soft (and must prevent denting making the waves lovely). This product is awesome, and so is the curling wand they make. I have both wands.
