Surprisingly surprised.
By J.M. Schmidt
I saw the WingFlyer at Fireworks at the Fountain on July 4th in Orlando and had to have one. The general consensus amongst the crowd was that nobody had seen anything like it. I tried the product there and decided I had to order one. The WingFlyer is very easy to assemble out of the box which adds the the "easy to use" mentality they portrayed. After folding up the handlebar into the locked position (it folds down if you want to put it in your car, FYI), I was ready to go.
About the bike (scooter? both?) itself: I will begin by saying it's very unique... like nothing I've ever tried before. It's hard to imagine if you've never seen it, but the best comparison I can make is that it's a stair stepper on wheels. The motion is up and down with each leg; truly as simple as that. However... as simple as the process is, the workout you receive from the WingFlyer is intense. My expectations on the physical effects I would receive were exceeded; it's tougher than it looks. By the end of 30 minutes on the WingFlyer, I was feeling it! Also of note: as someone who now experiences joint problems due to a once physically-demanding college athletics career, this exercise was ideal because it is extremely low impact.
All workout benefits aside, this machine is downright fun. Because it's so different, part of the fun is seeing how people look at you when riding it! My ability to move quickly in an upright position makes the WingFlyer better than a bike and more physically rewarding than a scooter. Five stars... try it out!

Fun Scooter - Even for Adults
By Online Shopper
I bought this so I could keep up with my kids on their Razor or Go-Ped kick scooters. As a tall adult, this isn't really meant for me, but that's OK - I didn't want to buy the much larger bike version - too hard to carry. Overall a great scooter with some minor issues (see below).
Pros:
- Solid Construction
- Rear disc brake - awesome
- Inflatable tires make riding smooth
- Low impact, elliptical-like motion
Cons:
- Doesn't glide easily (too much friction on both wheels when gliding)
- Hills are extremely hard due to one gear
Overall great scooter except for the high rolling resistance. If they would make this thing glide more smoothly (like a bike or Go-Ped scooter), it would be fantastic.

Answered Prayer for those with lower back pain
By Joe A. Tunon
I had not been able to ride a bike in over 10 years thanks to back surgery and a delicate tailbone. When I first heard of this I was curious but skeptical. I tried one at a local bike store and the rest is history. Not only is this thing a great workout, not only is it TOTALLY fun, but it allows me to re-live that feeling I used to get riding a bike, only FUNNER!!! Thank God for this thing. I only wish I knew what to call it! "Step cycle" is the most accurate way I would describe it. And for those of you who are vain, you'll get ALOT of compliments from people of all ages while riding this thing. But that's the least important reason to get it. Get it because it's healthy, and if you can't ride a bike because you suffer from back problems, you owe it to yourself to try this out.
