Great equipment but putting it together was a task!!
By FMcCullum
I priced this Proform elliptical on the Proform site before I purchased it. I have used this brand of elliptical before in the gym and really liked the fact that it is fully automatic and has a longer stride. Once I put it together everything was wonderful but the process was certainly not easy. Following the directions was easy enough but I ran into problems when trying to install the cross bar for the handles...no matter how much I greased that bar it would not slide easily into the opening. A hammer, mallet, rethreader, and a whle lot of cussing later, and I finally got the cros bar in. The rest of the set-up was smooth as pie and the elliptical works like a charm.

Defective Parts - No quality control
By Arrays_66
Part 48 (Upright Axle) does not fit in part 9 (Left Upper Body Arm). There seems to be a consistent problem with part 9 since a friend ordered two weeks later than me and got same part defective. I called Proform and there is a long backlog for this particular part until the end of May... wondering why...
Buy it now, receive it next week but you may not be able to build it until June or July.
