Gazelle user with some prior experience

Pros:
Once assembled, easy to operate. Light-weight, easy to move around, and it's truly a great cardio workout. Getting your heart rate up and trimming down is inevitable. It's a fun piece of equipment!!!
Cons:
Poorly written instructions to assemble. No one likes to screw together pieces and unscrew them to assemble other parts. It can take greater than an hour to put together if you're doing it alone. Equipment started squeaking after first use and can be bothersome if you're listening to music or talking on the phone while Gazelling. Finally, the pulse meter is not accurate at all as I was near exceeding my Maximum Heart Rate too quickly.
Recommendations:
Read the maintenance manual on where to lube part and lube all those parts before assembling to avoid the squeaking right after first use. Don't screw anything too tightly until it's completely assembled. I highly recommend starting off without use of the hydraulics system if you're not fit or don't have developed, frequently exercised calf muscles... or you'll be super sore and out of commission for a few days. Don't assemble the water bottle holder if you're only going to do a 15 to 30 minute session, and if you're limited on space (screws for the water holder are not missing - they come screwed onto the unit).
My results:
I lost 7+ lbs is under 2 months since adding the Gazelle with a separate Heart Rate Monitor to my fitness equipment list. A combined total of 15+ lbs in just over 2 months, includes use with the Total Gym XLS. I invested in a Polar FT40 and felt safe pushing myself more than I would if I'd rely on the pulse meter that came with the Gazelle. Of course good nutrition and portion size control are important as well, but I could not have done it without the Gazelle! I'm also using a Fitbit One to capture my steps and went from ranking at the bottom with 24 in my group, to 11th on the leader board. I could not have done it without the Gazelle!!! I'm in fitness heaven at this moment!
P.S. I'm not a first time owner of the Gazelle as I used to own one approx 12 years ago when they were larger and didn't have the hydraulics system. I didn't realize what a mistake I made when I sold it back then, until now.

Even better than my old one!!!

My old Gazelle was great & both my husband & I wore it out over the 10 years we had it. After repairing it many times, I decided to get another one & wanted one with the pistons this time. I settled on the Gazelle Supreme, because it looked like it had everything I was looking for. After receiving it & putting it together, it was obvious that not only did it have everything, but it was also sturdier & made better than my old one. This is a machine that we can both use in the comfort of our own home, regardless of how hot or cold it is outside. My husband has arthritis & issues with both his hips & knees, so this works really well for him because it's low impact. It's amazing how you can gear your work-out to your individual needs, it doesn't look like a very strenuous activity but you can really work up a sweat on this. When I get up early in the morning, I hop onto my Gazelle & do my routine & am then ready to face my day!! I would definitely recommend this machine to anyone looking for a reasonably priced work-out at home.

Gazelle Supreme

I have two bad knees and have trouble walking. Once I got the swing of getting on and off and then gliding. I am doing OK. My stamina is not great (two minutes starting) I am slowly increasing my time. My wife is also using it now. She started out with 5 minutes. It is harder to use than it shows on TV but it is worth it in the long run.
