The C-A-T Tourniquet is a compact, lightweight tourniquet that can be self-applied using just one hand. It's windlass system provides true circumferential pressure to an extremity to occlude blood flow in the event of a traumatic wound with a significant hemorrhage.
The CAT has become the tourniquet of choice for many operational groups and is highly recommended by trauma medics. Great piece of equipment

Not much to say here. It is what it says it is. There where a rash of sellers selling cheap knockoffs of this product for a while so I was a little nervous about buying. But the ones on Amazon are for real. So a word of caution, if it's half the price of this one, it's a fake. Good product, good seller. I bought this for my dad for Fathers day. He is a LEO and I built it into a "blow out kit" along with a lot of other stuff I picked up of amazon.
I recommend you study the application of a tourniquet before using this device. They are a drastic measure.

I use these professionally as a Paramedic and they are strong, and very effective. Bought one for backpacking and four wheeling, when I am far away from definitive care.

Complete misrepresentation of this product by the seller.

I got this item and it was well used, probably for training. The seller said is was "like new".....not hardly. The CAT is a great device but only when the seller is honest with you.
